DAY 1: New Zealand/Sydney
Thursday 17 October:
Today we are picked up from our home addresses anywhere in the greater Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch areas and taken to the airport to join our short flight to Australia. (dinner will be served on the aircraft).
On arrival in the cosmopolitan city of Sydney we are met and transferred to our accommodation at the 5* Shangri la hotel. Set in the heart of circular Quay our spacious rooms have all the facilities you would expect including a lovely view!!
Day 2: Sydney (BD)
Friday 18 October
A leisurely start to the day with a delicious buffet breakfast. We then join our coach to enjoy the sights of Sydney. We drive through the historic Rocks area, cross Sydney Harbour Bridge and have time for a stroll along picturesque Manly Beach. We return to the hotel mid afternoon. Time to relax before our big night out.
Join Vikki for an early dinner before the “highlight” of our tour. The incredible Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. We enjoy the the best seats available for this spectacular show— Premium tickets with a fabulous view of all the Military pomp and ceremony. From the moment the Lone Piper stands on the full-size replica of Edinburgh Castle you will feel the excitement build. Did you know that the first ever Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo was held in 1950? Tonight’s event will bring all the pageantry of this globally renowned, iconic show to Sydney to deliver a thrilling mix of music, ceremony, military tradition, theatre and dance. At the heart of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is the unforgettable sight and sound of the magnificent massed Pipes and Drums of Scotland’s iconic regiments, set against the brooding backdrop of the Edinburgh Castle. Featuring traditional Scottish favourites including pipers, fiddlers and highland dancers performing together with the Australian Defence Force, international precision drill teams and military and cultural performers from around the globe. Truly a night to remember!!!
Day 3: Sydney (BD)
Saturday 19 October:
Perhaps a late breakfast this morning after our big night last night. Then today is yours to enjoy the sights and sounds of this exciting city.
Perhaps a backstage tour of the iconic Sydney Opera House, day trip to the vineyards of the Hunter Valley or a visit to the Blue Mountains. Vikki, your Tour Manager, will assist you with suggestions.
Day 4: Sydney (B,SD)
Sunday 20 October
After a leisurely breakfast we join our coach and head to Parramatta to visit the Rumsey Rose Gardens with one of the largest collection of Heritage roses in Australia. The roses will be at their peak during October. It’s a beautiful setting with lush garden beds and arbours draped with fragrant Heritage Roses. We then enjoy Devonshire Tea at the Macquarie Gatehouse before returning to our hotel. Time for a relax before our cruise.
Tonight we enjoy a Sunset Cruise on Sydney Harbour while enjoying dinner and drinks. A perfect way to finish our tour.
Day 5: Sydney (B)
Monday 21 October:
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning. Time for some last minute shopping. Late afternoon we will be transferred to the airport for our homeward flight.

A non refundable deposit of $800 per person would be payable in order to confirm a place on the tour.
Final payment would be due on the 10 June 2019
A limited number of Guaranteed single rooms are available at a surcharge of $795.00.
If you prefer to book on a guaranteed twin share price we would room you with another passenger of the same gender. If we were unable to do so, the twin share price would still apply. Please note we accept no responsibility for the compatibility of passengers roomed together on this basis. If you are not compatible with the person you have been paired with, any additional costs involved in changing the room type would be at your expense.
We are pleased to offer a loyalty discount of $50 per person to those clients who have travelled with us previously.
We suggest you take out insurance in case of cancellation due to illness, medical whilst you are away, and loss of baggage. Check with us on the discounted costs.

Vikki Escorts a lot of the tours and makes sure all her passengers enjoy a memorable tour with lots of fun and surprises throughout. You are never bored when you travel with Vikki.
Maggie is an experienced tour guide having spent seven years guiding throughout Europe, Russia, Scandinavia, Egypt and Morocco when she was ‘younger’! Maggie then came back to NZ and has worked in the travel industry here for over 25 years and has escorted numerous travel agent and media trips to places such as China, Las Vegas, Bangkok, Norfolk Island, India, Ireland and the UK, USA and Asia (to name just a few ) in her roles within the travel Industry. She was the Manager of the British Tourist Authority in Auckland for nine years and then with worked with Marriott International Hotels for a further nine years. Maggie loves travel, and loves to show people wonderful places. She has a great sense of humour and likes to ensure that people not only experience all the wonderful sights, but that they have a fun time as well.
Visitors to our office will always get the “once over” from Charlie who is our Head of Security.
Charlie is a Bichon Frise and loves coming to work with Terri each day. When he is not on guard he can be found sleeping under Terri’s desk.
Charlie is probably the most popular member of staff!!
