Day 1: New Zealand/Singapore: Tuesday 21 July We are picked up from our home address in the greater Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch areas (within 25k radius of the city centre) and taken to the airport to join our Tour Manager and fellow travellers. We join our flight direct to the exciting city of Singapore onboard Air New Zealand. On our early evening arrival in Singapore we are met by our local guide and coach and taken to our hotel.
Day 2: City Sightseeing tour: Wednesday 22 July (BD) : This morning we enjoy breakfast at our hotel before joining our coach to Explore the city. We drive round the Civic District, passing by the Padang, Singapore Cricket Club, historic Parliament House and the National Gallery Singapore. The Gallery consists of two national monuments—the former Supreme Court Building and the City Hall. Next, stop at the Merlion Park and enjoy the impressive views of Marina Bay. We have time to take photos of this mythological creature that is part lion and part fish and synonymous with Singapore. We visit the Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of Singapore’s oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples, before driving past Chinatown. Proceed to Singapore’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site—The Singapore Botanic Gardens and walk through the National Orchid Garden which boasts a sprawling display of 60,000 orchid plants. Let your senses come alive at Little India as you walk past shops along the five –footway offering a variety of exotic Fruits, spices, jasmine and orchid gardens. Tonight join your Tour Escort for dinner at the hotel.
Day 3: Floral Festival: Thursday 23 July (B) This morning we are transferred to the “Gardens by the Bay” where we enjoy the only show in the world to gather the world’s top award-winning garden and floral designers under one roof. Singapore Garden Festival 2018 showcases the talents of the world’s gardening luminaries. It will dazzle you with its wide array of displays, events and activities.
Set in the award winning garden attraction—Garden by the Bay—featuring more than 500,000 plants from over 2,200 species! replicating the cool and dry Mediterranean climate the Flower Dome features 9 different gardens from 6 continents. At the Cloud Forest explore the highlands amidst orchids, pitcher plants and ferns from the cool-moist tropical Mountain regions featuring one of the World’s tallest indoor waterfalls at 35 metres. Enjoy the sights and sounds of this area at your own pace. When you are ready you can make your own way back to the hotel. Tonight enjoy “your choice” for dinner. Your Tour Manager will have suggestions. Maybe dinner at the bustling Clark Quay?
Day 4: Floral Festival: Friday 24 July (BD) Once again we are transferred back to the “Gardens by the Bay” to enjoy the activities and many sights the festival has on offer. Enjoy this at your own pace and return to the hotel when you are ready. Tonight we join our Tour Manager for dinner at the hotel.
Day 5: Colonial past and High Tea: Saturday 25 July (B HT) This morning is at leisure. After lunch we join our coach and guide and our tour starts at the Singapore River—the lifeline of Singapore where the first immigrants eked out a meagre living and saw Singapore transform from an obscure little fishing village to a great seaport. Admire beautifully restored warehouses that now house chic Quayside dining and entertainment spots and the contrasting skyscrapers of the Financial District. Then marvel at the magnificent colonial buildings and five grand old bridges before stopping at our destination. The Fullerton Hotel Singapore. Enjoy a delightful three tier afternoon tea served in the sun-lit courtyard with its magnificent high glass ceiling. Favourite items are replenishable and complimented by a free flow of premium teas and coffee. Walk it all off at the Fullerton Heritage Gallery or mail a post card home through the colonial-style Red Pillar Post Box located at the gallery. Let our guide take you back in time from when it was a Fortress built at the mouth of the Singapore River to the first General Post Office in the early 20th century and now the beautifully restored hotel, Singapore’s 71st National Monument. We have left tonight free for your “own choice” dinner.
Day 6 :Join our Genting DREAM Cruise: Sunday 26 July (BD)
Relax after breakfast and enjoy some personal sightseeing or shopping. Then its another highlight today as we join the Genting Dream –our 18 deck luxury cruising experience. We are confirmed in an Oceanview Stateroom an enjoy relish Asian and International culinary favourites in the Dream Dining room, A bowling alley, The first Johnnie Walker House at sea serving premium Scotch Whiskey, Bubbles Champagne Bar with a great selection of the finest champagnes by the glass or bottle. Enjoy world-class live productions and the latest 3D movies at a state-of-the-art 999 seat venue. Perhaps a spa or massage at the Crystal life spa !!
Day 7 Penang: Monday 27 July (BLD)
We arrive in Penang just after lunch. Here we have a choice of some lovely shore excursions to discover the stories of the city and indulge in hawker foods. We sail out just before midnight to continue our journey.
Day 8: Phuket: Tuesday 28 July (BLD)
Another lunchtime arrival and this time its Phuket. Time for a visit to the bustling street markets to experience the energetic soul of this beach paradise.
Day 9: Langkawi: Wednesday 29 July (BLD)
This morning we sail into Langkawi. Surround by emerald sea Langkawi has paddy fields, jungle and waterfalls. A treasure trove of exciting sightseeing opportunities.
Day 10: Kuala Lumpur: Thursday 30 July (BLD)
We arrive in Malaysia today at Port Klang, Kuala Lumpur. Its modern skyline is dominated by the 451m-tall Petronas Twin Towers, a pair of glass-and-steel-clad skyscrapers with Islamic motifs. The towers also offer a public skybridge and observation deck. The city is also home to British colonial-era landmarks such as the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building.
Day 11: Depart Singapore: Friday 31 July (B)
We arrive back into the Port of Singapore around lunchtime. We disembark after a fabulous few days and we are taken on a short sightseeing trip visiting Hort Park where we lose ourselves in a stunning array of gardens that will make us forget the bustle of the city. Imagine a place where a collection of well-manicured and fantastically designed gardens lay together in a charming space. HORT Park is a 9-hectare park located in the southwestern part of Singapore. We re-join our coach and head out to the airport for our early evening flight back home. After check in there is time to enjoy this magnificent airport with its fabulous indoor gardens and incredible architecture.
Day 12: Arrive Auckland: Saturday 01 August (B)
We arrive back in New Zealand where the Supreme Team are waiting to take us back to our home address in the Greater Auckland area. If you are catching a domestic flight we will pick you up in Wellington or Christchurch and taken you home if you are within our pick up area.

The passengers contracts in use by the airlines or transportation companies when used shall constitute the sole contract between the airline, transportation company and passenger or purchaser of this tour and the operators assume no responsibility in this connection. Maggie is an experienced tour guide having spent seven years guiding throughout Europe, Russia, Scandinavia, Egypt and Morocco when she was ‘younger’! Maggie then came back to NZ and has worked in the travel industry here for over 25 years and has escorted numerous travel agent and media trips to places such as China, Las Vegas, Bangkok, Norfolk Island, India, Ireland and the UK, USA and Asia (to name just a few ) in her roles within the travel Industry. She was the Manager of the British Tourist Authority in Auckland for nine years and then with worked with Marriott International Hotels for a further nine years. Maggie loves travel, and loves to show people wonderful places. She has a great sense of humour and likes to ensure that people not only experience all the wonderful sights, but that they have a fun time as well.

Charlie is a Bichon Frise and loves coming to work with Terri each day. When he is not on guard he can be found sleeping under Terri’s desk.
