Surrounded by incredible mountains and situated on the edge of the crystal clear Lake Wakatipu, you will love this scenic resort.
On arrival we are taken to the central Novotel Lakeside hotel for 3 nights. This evening join your Tour Manager for an early dinner tonight.
Then a real highlight.!! We join our Tour Manager for a wander around the Botanical gardens (a 3 minute walk from hotel). Here we will delight in the fabulous art installations and sculptures lighting up the garden and the ponds. You will be amazed at the colour and creativity which changes the whole garden setting into an evening of wonder. There will be music and interactive themes throughout. This is taken at your own easy pace. The gardens close at 10.00p.m.

This rustic town is a true outdoor enthusiast’s paradise. Set against a background of native beech forest and towering mountain ranges, Glenorchy’s surrounds are nothing short of awe-inspiring. Glenorchy’s landscapes have become a prime location for film scouts, depicting many scenes from The Lord of the Rings trilogy as well as featuring in the Narnia movie.
