After our buffet breakfast we join our coach for a wonderful day spent in the scenic Wairarapa. We’ll enjoy some time in historic Greytown with its carefully restored Victorian buildings and top-notch shops.  Time for some retail therapy here before on to  Martinborough, a quirky little village with a majestic square at its heart.  The  Martinborough Hotel takes pride of place at the entrance to the square. Developer Edmund Buckeridge described it in 1882 as “one of the finest hostelries ever  erected in any inland town in New Zealand”.  We enjoy a light lunch in Martinborough before returning to Wellington late afternoon.

Enjoy dinner at the hotel tonight.
